Grisso
Is an African holistic healer. He also holds a doctorate from the University of Toronto.
Healer is Born
On July 10, 1997, he met "Grisso", an African priest, the who-he-was before he was born, and the who-he-is-to-become in this incarnation. He has embraced this destiny that has been revealed to him, and is now on the spiritual path. Part of this destiny, he is told, is to become a "master healer." Beginnings
His career as a healer started on his 1997 trip to Ghana. When some in the tour group fell ill, he found that he could use the divination system he had been taught by the Ausar-Auset Society to find a useful remedy from his homeopathic travel-kit, and to advise accordingly. Encouraged by this success, and by grateful travel companions, he has, since then, continued to refine and extend this skill.
Divination Based
Grisso relies on divination for all his healing work. In reality, he himself heals no one, rather he accesses the wisdom part of spirit by means of divination, and based on the results of his divination inquiry, advises the querent on the energetics at play in a given situation. From such an understanding, a wise course of action may proceed. Such counseling is useful in addressing all problems, whatever the mundane aspect of life in which they may appear. Since becoming a priest of Ifa, as Baba Ifawale, Grisso is also now a diviner/healer in the ancient tradition of the Yoruba, as well as a diviner/healer of the oracle of Tehuti, the ancient Kemetic god of wisdom. The main difference between the two systems is that where Tehuti may be used to provide general spiritual understanding of the forces at play in a given situation, as well as specific advice on healing modalities to use (a course of herbs, or homeopathy, or vitamins, or any other healing modality whatsoever) Ifa may do all of that, but in addition, indicate the ebo (sacrifice), or other types of offerings to spirit, that may be required to assure a positive outcome or avert a negative outcome in the matter inquired about.

Grisso's practice includes:
- Ifa readings and follow-up spiritual work (ebo etc.)
- incarnation objective readings (similar to an astrological natal chart reading)

- physical health readings, and follow-up requiring homeopathy and herbs
Healing Philosophy
The core concept to which Grisso adheres in his healing practice is that of African Holistic Healing, which sees body, mind and spirit as inter-penetrating and inter-acting aspects of a whole. Therefore, whatever the problem area, and especially in issues involving physical health, African Holistic Healing starts with a general Spiritual Reading to determine the spiritual energetics surrounding the situation, and to determine the key healing principles to which querent would be advised to adhere, in order to re-establish querent in physical and spiritual equilibrium. From this divination inquiry comes advice and guidance as to the combination of healing modalities most appropriate for the querent.
While conventional medicine can boast tremendous successes, it is also clear that it is ineffective in preventing and reversing the degenerative diseases of Western living, e.g.:
- diabetes
- hypertension
- stress
- depression
- arthritis
- skin disorders
- allergies
- addictions
- prostate and impotence problems
- etc.
since it treats (suppresses) symptoms, rather than underlying causes, leading to complications and side-effects requiring yet more treatment/suppression. Equally, it is becoming clear that ancient, divination-mediated (i.e. African) holistic healing techniques can succeed where conventional medicine has failed. (Grisso's own sad experience with a combination of internist, allergist, and dermatologist, all treating/suppressing, but not curing, different manifestations of the same underlying illness, is a case in point. Thanks to a holistic approach, the problem is now cured!)
Healing Modalities
In the area of physical health, Grisso has developed a structured series of questions to pose to the Oracle. Based on the results of this divination inquiry, he is able to advise querents as to an overall strategy for addressing their problems. Depending on the results of the inquiry, Grisso would either follow up himself with the querent, or refer querent to other healers for the further work that needs to be done. Grisso would do follow-up work himself with the querent in the areas of homeopathy and herbs.. Where direct spiritual work is required, Grisso's practice is limited by availability of live animals and requisite outdoor/open space that is often needed when blood sacrifice is necessary. Often spirit would accept a substitute for blood sacrifice, but when that is not the case, Grisso can arrange to have the necessary work done at Ile Ife, Nigeria.
African Holistic Healing Collaborative
Grisso is the founder of the African Holistic Healers Collaborative, a loose association of healers who together represent a wide range of healing skills and who have been calling upon each other as client needs demand.
