Nanuweeta Ren Green

Is Supreme Medicine Chief in her Native American Tribal Tradition. Born into Her Mother’s royal line of the Mosewetusett Nation, she descends from a long line of Royal Sachems, priests and medicine workers. ‘Medicine’ in the native tradition includes all things and practices that help to maintain the well being (spiritual, physical,emotional, social) of the people. Having proved herself worthy through her lineage and her works,the title of Nanuweeta was bestowed upon her in 1996 by the nation’s ruling Sachem. The title of Nanuweeta translates into English as Supreme Medicine Chief and carrying this title signifies that one is considered Supreme Chief in all matters and holds the highest position to be attained in the Mosewetusett Nation.

Having completed her mother line lineage Nanuweeta Ren continues to search out the African lineage of her father line and guided by Spirit has moved to New Orleans as a means of furthering her search.

Training Lineage

Beyond a lifetime of training in Native Spirituality and Yorenda Medicine Practice, Nanuweeta Ren has trained as a Masters level psychotherapist. She was initiated as a Usui Traditional Reiki Teaching Master in 1996. She continued her training by studying the healing art of Chi Gong at the Oriental Culture Institute with Chi Gong Master, Tom Tam (a Master Healer of legendary proportions) from 1997 until forever (Chi Gong training doesn’t ever end but continues to evolve over the lifetime(s).

Nanuweeta Ren has researched, studied and practices Women’s Spirituality. She was launched into the Universe of Women’s Spirituality by Louisa Tish author and Yoruba Priestess of Oshun, at a Women’s Spirituality Retreat in 1989. That week in 1989 was a life changing experience and revealed things that had been hidden for lifetimes. It opened up a whole new world of Spirit and experience that continues to this day.

Although she believes formal training essential and necessary for priest healers, Nanuweeta Ren gives significant importance to life experience (and lifetimes of experience), a deep and ongoing connection to Earth and Spirit and to the presence and power of Eternal Love as her reality and life guide.
