The African Holistic Healing Collaborative

Is a loose association of healers who together represent a wide range of healing skills and who have been calling upon each other as client needs demand.

[Historical Note: We honor Imhotep (see photo) the ancient Kamitic healer and pyramid builder of the 3rd Dynasty, who predated Hippocrates by over 2000 years, and who, based both upon accomplishment and precedence, deserves the title of Father of Medicine, a title which the West has accorded instead to the Greek Hippocrates. Imhotep was known to the Greeks as Asclepius, and it was to him that Hippocrates swore the "Hippocratic" oath.]

[Caveat: We are healers, but we do not practice medicine in the Western legalistic sense. We do not treat disease; we provide information and counseling useful for clients who seek to unleash the natural healing potential of body/spirit/mind]

Our Approach

African Holistic Healing is based on a Spiritual Reading to determine:

Client's life purpose and associated surrounding energetic/spirit configuration;
the status of Client's Spiritual and Physical Health; and
the key healing principles that would establish Client in holistic balance.

A wellness program customized for the Client is then developed.

Healers

Grisso (Baba Ifawale), organizer of the African Holistic Healing Collaborative, is a Priest of Ifa, a Priest of Shango, and a Reiki Master. He applies his diviner's art in giving spiritually-based counseling to querents in four main areas which are highly inter-related: incarnation objective readings (similar to an astrological natal chart reading); love, and relationship readings; business and career readings; and physical health readings. He applies his diviner's art also in advising clients about homeopathic and herbal remedies that may help in establishing them in holistic equilibrium. Iya Osunnike Anke (Robin Scott Manna), a Reiki Master and Yoruba priestess of Oshun, founder of the Institute of TransMutational Healing, who is now based in Lexington, Kentucky, having moved there from Boston. Iya Osunnike Anke specializes in soul journey and energy work, combining her skills as a Reiki Master and as Yoruba priestess of Oshun. She facilitates multi-dimensional life recall and ancestral communication for her clients. As a Yoruba priestess, she also does shrine work, and makes a powerful herbal Oshun bath. (It impregnates your aura with Oshun energy, making you more attractive and alluring.)
Baba Koleoso Karade, a Reiki Master, a priest of Shango and a babalawo, and founder and chief priest of the Temple of the Mystic Light. Baba Koleoso is the author of several books, and a diviner versed not only in the traditional divinatory tools of the babalawo, but also in the divinatory system of the Great Oracle of Tehuti. Baba Koleoso is also a shaman in the Lakota system, and is a facilitator for sweat-lodge ceremonies.
Nana Akua Attakora, an Akan priestess of Asuo Gyebi, founder of the Akan Spiritual United Order, and first Chair of the Akan Traditional Healers Association of Ghana. Nana Akua Attakora specializes in shrine work and deity-mediated healing. She advises clients based on what she "hears" from her deity. She works with herbs brought over from Ghana, as well as with herbs native to America. One of her success stories is an AIDS patient who, five years ago, was given six months to live by her doctors. That client is still alive today.
Nana Abena Korantenma , an Akan priestess of Asuo Gyebi, and founder of Jambalaya, Inc., a non-profit organization doing healing work in the Baltimore/DC area. She specializes in massage therapy, combining the arts of reflexology and Reiki, along with the shrine work of an ordained traditional African priestess following the Akan system of Ghana.
Nanuweeta Ren Green , is Supreme Medicine Chief of the Mosewetusett Nation, a Yorenda Priest, and favored daughter of Osh Nianta Gee. She is also a Reiki Teaching Master, Medical Chi Gong practitioner and gifted Psycho-Spiritual Counselor. Nanuweeta Ren is the founder of the World Wide Temple Association of Divine Love Universal and Golden Dove Ministries, based in New Orleans, Louisiana. She specializes in energy work including Yorenda Energy and Ritual work, Reiki (teaching and healing) and Medical Chi Gong for healing mind, body and soul. She facilitates evolutionary Spirit centered classes and workshops and offers Transformational Therapy, non traditional counseling work that transforms the lives and advances the spiritual evolution of those she works with.
