Problem Presentation

The querent is Anonymous, a woman 38 years old. Called for a telephone consultation.

She is seeking general advice. She complains of migraine headaches, pain in leg, knees, thigh and feet, also a feeling of anxiety when she must speak at her church, both before speaking and after. She has had issues with alcohol and cocaine. She wants some advice as to how to overcome her problems.

Dear Anonymous,

I asked first why you are asking for the reading. Tehuti says you are seeking clarity of mind and purpose, and at the same time struggling to find joy in your life.

Incarnation Objective

I asked Tehuti what is your incarnation objective -- what are the life lessons you came here to learn and master. Tehuti says that you came here to learn the lessons surrounding the energies of the deities Tehuti (Orunmila in Yoruba), and of matters governed by Sheps (Egungun), that go to the ancestors, and to issues of ancestral culture.

Tehuti. The Tehuti energy governs Divine Will, and the omniscience faculty of the Creator. It is the faculty of wisdom. Ra Un Nefer Amen says that when you get Tehuti as an incarnation objective, you must dedicate your life to developing wisdom, the ability to intuit what is Divine Will in a given situation, and to live according to that truth. In the meantime, you must work closely with oracles, diviners, sages, etc. to get spiritual counseling in your life. What is going to make and break your life is spiritual guidance, which you receive from the oracles, diviners, sages... A sage doesn't think... A sage is one who has learnt to still the thinking process to hear what God has to say. That is what you have to learn to do. Until then, every key move you make in your life should be guided by an oracle reading. Ask Tehuti. Go to a babalawo. Talk to a priest or minister with a deep understanding of the ways of Spirit. If you don't, things will turn out bad for you, for this is Spirit's way of getting your attention, and helping you to remember what it is you came to learn in this incarnation. You will have to deal with conflict. They will be part of your life not to run away from, but to force you to tap into the power to solve that conflict through the oracles or through the wisdom part of your spirit. This does not mean staying in a bad situation, but it does mean that you need to understand, from a spiritual perspective, what the problem is. This is make and break for you. If you have Tehuti, never leave a difficult situation because you cannot take it any more. The challenge for you is to understand what is going on, then to act accordingly, so that you do not simply leave one bad situation only to end up in another one worse. This is true for everybody, but it is critical for those with a Tehuti incarnation objective.

The positive traits associated with the Tehuti energy in your life are described by key words such as:

just, equilibrated, holistic, generous, sharing, optimistic, liberal, magnanimous, moral sense, positive striving for wealth, religious, successful, "fortunate", law abiding, fair, charitable, deferring to elders, no trafficking with evil, grateful, prudent

The negative traits associated with the Tehuti energy in your life are described by key words such as:

negatively expansive (for food, sex, material things, etc.), pleasure-seeking, boastful, extravagant, unlawful, hypocritical regarding religion, and the law: false religious, legal and scientific tenets

Occupations corresponding to the Tehuti energy include: sages, prophets, and more mundanely, judges, very experienced lawyers, theoretical scientists, theoreticians, theologians, bankers, merchants, upper echelon priests and priestesses, fortune hunters, officials, subject-matter experts in a particular field, consultants, teachers at the highest levels, advisers, counselors, etc.

Sheps. The Sheps card in your incarnation objective indicates that the energies surrounding ancestral links and culture will be an important part of your life. It means that you must honor your ancestors, and work to keep the ancestral culture alive. If you are not doing these things, the energetics will conspire to cause conflict and confusion in your life until you do. The Sheps energy suggests also that you will have a special link with the deceased, meaning that you will be fairly open to spirit attachments, both positive and negative. To avoid Dark Deceased beings attaching themselves to you it will be necessary for you to keep yourself at a high vibrational level so as to be an inhospitable host to Dark Deceased, who get their "swerve on" by feeding on all manner of negative energies, from anxiety to depression to lust to addiction, to fear, to greed, to jealousy, etc.

Other Incarnation Issues

I also asked Tehuti to comment on the past life most relevant to your present incarnation, the faculties you find difficulty manifesting, the faculties you find easiest to manifest, and your biggest gift in this incarnation.

Tehuti says that the past life most relevant to your present incarnation had to do with the principles of Maat -- truth, harmony, love, Divine Law, generosity, sharing, giving seeking nothing in return, etc. Tehuti and Maat are closely related, the former being Divine Will, and the latter being Divine Law. The positive and negative traits of these two energies are the same, as are the mundane occupations to which they correspond. So to some extent you have been down this road before, incarnationally speaking. The physiological correspondences also are the same, with Maat and Tehuti both corresponding to the functions of the liver, and the maintenance of balance and equilibrium in the body.

The faculty you find greatest difficulty manifesting is the Ausar faculty, namely gaining clarity, and establishing all aspects of your life in inter-relational harmony and balance. This suggests that you will need to work to bring unity to the disparate elements of your life, and there may be pulls tending to a compartmentalization of the different facets of your life, such that, for example, your work life is kept separate from your social life, or you have different circles of friends who never meet each other, etc.

It is easy for you to communicate with the ancestors. You are like a magnet to Dark Deceased. Your fling with alcohol and drugs (the negatively expansive energies earlier, for food, drugs, sex, etc.) would have made you a prime target for Dark Deceased to attach themselves to, and to feed off that energy.

Your biggest gift is psychic receptivity, with beneficent ancestors helping you in this regard.

Health Issues

Now we come to the crux of the matter, your health.

Tehuti confirms that you have reason to be concerned with the status of your physical health at the moment. This is characterized by negative Maat, which means you are, or were, asking your liver to do too much, and it is not coping. The degeneration is gradual, and manifests in many ways. On the outside, it shows in obesity. On the inside, it shows in the accumulation of proteid and other waste in the blood, with diabetes likely to develop unless holistic balance is restored.

Your overall health condition is also characterized secondarily by Auset, which energy governs water retention issues, assimilation issues (e.g. due to poor digestion, or to impacted colon, which leads to the result of being possibly overweight and undernourished at the same time), also issues of phlegm (mucus) accumulation and associated diseases, e.g. catarrhal conditions, etc. Auset also governs the ovaries and uterus. Thus there may be issues there as well.

Both the Maat and Auset issues are impacted by nervous exhaustion, likely the accumulated result of past errors of living, including the use of cocaine and alcohol. Meanwhile, your nervous condition (incipient burnout) is affected by the condition of your blood, and your vitality. Your circulation and cardio-vascular function also are affected by the condition of your blood, meaning the level of impurities that can lead to deposition of crystallized material associated with arthritis, gall stones, etc.

All told, your health complaints trace to errors of living that throw your liver function out of balance, leading to a vicious degenerative cycle that throws other systems out of balance, leading to overweight, impure blood, causing both circulation problems, and abnormal deposition of crystallized material leading to stiffness of joints, also the pain you describe. Your capacity to cope (nervous function) is also diminished by this process. The migraine headaches are caused by this diminishment of nervous capacity.

The anxiety attacks re speaking at church do not seem directly related to your health condition, rather are caused by ancestral communication. They are trying to get through, perhaps to speak through you. Your conditionings get in the way of this process, hence the tension caused which manifests as anxiety. You need to still your thoughts, and listen to God and the ancestors and what it is they wish to communicate to and through you.

We see from the foregoing how your health issues are intertwined with your incarnation issues. Tehuti, which is the dominant energy of your incarnation objective, also governs the liver, which is the seat of the derangement giving rise to your health complaints. And Sheps, which is the other part of your incarnation objective, also comes into play with the anxiety attacks of which you complain, as these have to do directly with the ancestors and their wanting to communicate to and through you. It is interesting that your speaking at church is likely a Tehuti function, as you are there in a position of giving counsel to others, I assume, and the Sheps are trying to get your attention and to communicate through you as you do so -- a pure manifestation of your incarnational energetics at work with Tehuti and Sheps working together.

Relatedly, but not part of the present reading, you spoke of your job situation, which you changed recently. Tehuti and Sheps again come up in combination, as you are in a counselor position, one, and two, you switched jobs possibly without coming to terms spiritually with the source of your difficulty ... it might have been a bad move. See above re Tehuti people and making moves without first achieving understanding of what's spiritually at issue. It appears that this second job has less to do with honoring the ancestors and ancestral links -- Sheps issue -- than the previous. In any case, your job situation appears to be contributing to the nervous exhaustion which is part of the overall health picture.

Recommendation

Tehuti says that the most important healing principles to which you should adhere in attempting to restore your bodily vehicle to equilibrium are those governed by Herukhuti (Ogun to the Yoruba), and Uatchet (Oya). The Herukhuti energy is that of restoring-to-order, and governs most importantly the immune system. The Uatchet energy corresponds to dynamic vitality, "gung-ho" kind of energy. Hence we are looking at a tonifying regime in the effort to restore your vehicle to equilibrium.

More specifically, when asked to comment on the relative importance of each of a number of possible healing approaches, Tehuti favors, in your case, a combination of:

This combined approach should take you where you want to go.
