CALL FOR PAPERS:
Putting Flesh on Bone: New Essays in African Canadian Women's History
edited by Afua Cooper and Adrienne Shadd
We are seeking submissions for a new collection of scholarly essays in
African Canadian women's history. All areas of inquiry, in all regions
and all time periods are eligible. Of particular interest are topics to
which little attention has been paid to date, such as African Canadian
women's contribution to art and cultural production, religion and
spirituality, immigration, consciousness, sexuality and aging.
Submissions should be approximately 4500-6500 words and may be sent by
snail mail or e-mail.
Snail Mail: If sending by snail mail, send the paper typed, double-spaced
on 8 1/2 x 11" paper as well as the diskette in Word or WordPerfect to
