30,000 bodies from genocide in Rwanda dam


The Rwandan government has discovered a single dam that might have 30,000 bodies. This is from a genocide that happened in 1994 causing 800,000 deaths.

This is a day prior to the 26 years celebration since the occurrence of the deadly incident that claimed the thousands lives in Rwanda. On Tuesday, April 7, the country will hold the celebration through televisions due to the restrictions laid out in the country as the globe battles the coronavirus disease.

The discovery is not mentioned. However, 50 bodies have already been traced even though it’s challenging because of the coronavirus lockdown measures that have been put in place.
