A late win for Leeds as Leicester damage City

Leeds United football club is enjoying a good start to the 2020/21 English premier league (EPL) season as they collected another three points on Sunday, 27 September after defeating Sheffield united 1-0.

Leeds United went into the match with confidence to win the match after winning their previous fixture against Fulham last weekend while Sheffield united hoped to overturn the tables and find a winning formula after losing their previous two encounters against Wolves and Aston Villa but Leeds added salt to their wounds as they lost the game.

With both sides conscious not to concede goals in the match, no goals were witnessed and with time ticking on the clock everyone thought points will be shared among the two sides but Leeds striker Bamford produced the magic moment in the 88th minute when he headed home a Harrison cross to win the game for Leeds.

In another match at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium, Mourinho and his men were frustrated by Newcastle united as it took the intervention of the video assistant referee (VAR) to give Newcastle United a late penalty to force the two sides to share points.

Lucas Moura gave the home side the lead in the 25th minute after connecting a Harry Kane cross which Newcastle united defenders failed to clear before the visitors equalised in added minutes of the match through a penalty converted by Wilson after Dier handled the ball in the box.

At the city of Manchester stadium, Leicester city damaged the home side in a 7 goals thriller with many of the goals coming in the second half.

Manchester City gave themselves hope to demolish the foxes as they took an early lead in the 4th minute when Ryard Mahrez punished his former club before Jammy Vardy stood up to score from the penalty to level matters before half time.

9 minutes into the second half, Vardy was on the score sheet again before completing his hat-trick four minutes later from the penalty spot after he was brought down in the box.
As if the goals were not enough Madison scored the fourth goal for Leicester city before Tielemans made it 5 in a match Nathan Axe reduced the damage for Manchester city but the damage had already been done.
