Africa COVID-19 fatalities hit 2,480 as Egypt remains most affected

Today, May 14 2020, the World Health Organization in Africa statistics has unveiled that the total number of deaths from the viral disease is 2,480, 72,379 infections and more than 25,000 recoveries.

Egypt still has the highest number of deaths with a total of 556 fatalities and 10,431 infections. Algeria follows second with 522 deaths and 6,253 infections of the COVID-19.

The disease has claimed more than 85,699 lives in America whereby up to date with more than 1,438,426 million infections. Full recoveries count to more than 311,693. The UK has more than 33,614 deaths more than 233,000 infections while Italy follows with 31,368 deaths and more than 222,000 infections.
