Mwanza region based Club, Alliance Football Club has diverged their family focus from Vodacom Premier League to Azam Sports Federation Cup quarter finals.

In the Vodacom Premier League Alliance Football Club is among the bottom four clubs in the league standings and they might lose their spot in the Vodacom Premier League next season.

Thus shifting their focus to the Azam Sports Federation Cup as they still do have a chance to proceed into semi-finals and even win it and go to CAF competitions.

Alliance Football Club will face Namungo Football Club in the Azam Sports Federation Cup quarterfinals on June 27 or 28 this year 2020.

Kessy Maziray, Alliance Football Club head coach admits that Namungo Football Club is a great club with phenomenal players and so their tie will be competitive.

“I’ve been with the team for a short time, I believe they will do better and get positive results against Namungo Football Club.

” If we play our cards right we might get a chance to win something this season despite our poor running form in the Vodacom Premier League,” says Kessy Maziray about their plans and focus in the coming competitions.
