An American woman who broke Fifa Women’s world cup record


Alex Morgan is the second player in Fifa Women’s Word Cup history to score five goals in a single game, doing so 27 years and 199 days after fellow @USWNT international Michelle Akers managed this feat against Chinese Taipei in November 1991.


The American Striker Alex Morgan netted five goals as United States began their Women’s World Cup quest to defend their championship, as they get historic record-breaking goals 13-0 against Thailand, on Tuesday Night.


The Fifa Women’s world Cup goal scoring record was held by Germany, as they punished Argentina in 2007.
