Azam Football Club head coach, Aristica Cioaba has planned to use a total of 336 hours for his squad fitness sessions. Cioaba says he will use those hours that are equal to two weeks of training, so they can be ready for the competitions.
Azam Football Club has two competitions left this season, first, they are up to the task of defending their title in Azam Sports Football Federation Cup.
Vodacom Premier League sets to return early this June as the government gave the green light to the resuming of the league and finish the season.
Cioaba says two weeks are enough to get the players ready because most of them spent the last two months without proper training sessions.
“Two weeks preparations are enough for my players to catch up with their normal performances, one week is for physical training and getting the bodies ready. The second week is for the team to have technical training sessions so we can have our plans working for us the pitch and get the results we want.”
Azam Football Club is at 2nd place with 54 points after 28 Vodacom Premier League matches this season.
