Arsenal football club has set a record for themselves of winning the FA cup 14 times after they came from behind to defeat Chelsea 2-1 in the 2019/20 season FA cup finals at Wembley Stadium on Saturday.
With both sides in need of a trophy this season, the game started on a good note for Chelsea who scored in the first 5 minutes of the match through Christian Pulisic from close range.
The goal gave confidence to the blues but on a number of occasions were threatened by Arsenal on counter attacks which paid off in the 28th minute when Gabonese international Pierre Emerick Aubameyang scored from the penalty spot after he was fouled by Chelsea defender.
In the second half, Aubameyang completed his brace after receiving an inviting pass from Ivory coast international Pepe before he dribbled pass and chip the ball over the blues goalkeeper Caballero and win it for the gunners 2-1.
The win gives Arsenal a chance to play in the Europa League next season via back door after they failed to qualify for the competition through the English Premier League (EPL) as they finished the season on position 8 and have set themselves a charity shield crash against Liverpool who won the Premier League.
