TNM super league defending champions have announced that Malawi national football team midfielder Peter Banda has sealed a three years deal with the club after playing for the club on loan last year from Griffin young stars.
According to the youngest who was voted Super League Player of the Year in his debut season in 2019 and was wanted by a number of clubs including capital city giants Silver Strikers, the decision made is important for his career and people should expect a lot from him.
“Am happy that I have extended my stay at Bullets until 2023 and this is a very important decision for my career considering how I played during my first season at the club last year. This year people should expect to see improvements in me as I need to grow my game,” Banda said.
On the other hand, Peter Banda’s manager Griffin Saenda jnr said they considered a lot of factors before the player signed the deal ending speculations of joining another club.
“I can confirm that Peter Banda has signed a three years permanent deal with Bullets but it wasn’t easy for us to come up with this decision as a number of clubs were also looking for his services with better offers too but in the end we agreed he commit the coming three years to Bullets,” said Saenda jnr.
