Black Leopards return PSL spot

Black Leopards football club scored in each half to defeat Ajax Cape Town football club 2-0 in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) promotion playoffs and book themselves a place in the league next season.

The Limpopo based side went into the match in high spirits after winning their previous promotion playoffs games and their opponents Ajax needed nothing but a win to keep alive their hopes of the elite league status but Leopards did the damage on them.

A 14th-minute goal from Masia gave Black Leopard a comfortable lead in the first half before Musonda’s second-half goal ensured Black Leopards earn a spot in next year’s PSL as they collected 9 points from 3 games while Ajax has finished their scheduled 4 games and have collected 6 points.

Leopards will play Tshakhuma Tsha Madzibvandila (TTM) on Monday 21 September to just fill the promotion playoffs fixtures as a win for TTM will not hunt Leopards return ticket into the PSL.
