Bullet’s and Wanderer’s players complain to FPA over salary deductions

Football Players Association (FPA) has received complaints from players of giants Be Forward Wanderers and Nyasa Big Bullets football clubs over their salary deductions.

Wanderers players have seen their June salaries deducted by 60% and not the agreed 50% which has made them not to take home the money. On the other hand, their arc rivals Nyasa Big Bullets football club players salaries have been deducted by K40,000 without being consulted.

FPA general secretary Enerst Mangani has confirmed that they have received complaints from players of the two clubs and investigations are underway.

“Wanderers players have complained to us that their salaries have been deducted not as per agreed while Bullets players have seen K40,000 deducted from their salaries without their knowledge.

“As an association, we will investigate on these cases as labour laws state that salary deductions can be done upon an agreement between all involved parties,” he said.
