Nyasa Big Bullets football club is yet to decide on the future of Chikondi Makande and Noel Lipipa who were part of the teams administrative section but have switched sides to politics after winning as Members of Parliament in the May 21 tripartite elections.
Commenting on the matter the club’s administrative director Albert Chigoga said the club is aware of the development but they are yet to meet and make a decision on the two.
“The board has not yet meet to discuss the future of the two gentlemen, honourable Noel Lipipa and Makande have been actively involved in the administration of Nyasa Big Bullets as board directors and have also been actively involved in the administration of the team before so they are aware of the rules that govern football so as individuals I think they are looking into that but as board there has not been any decision made in regard to their change in status.
“It’s not a decision which can be made over night but as board we should come up with a decision which will help the club “, he said.
The two Noel Lipipa and Chikondi Makande are some of the sportsmen who have won in the just ended 21 May tripartite elections which have also seen former Zodiak Broadcast Station and sports commentator Mike Bango and owner of Ntopwa football club Issac Jomo Osman trusted by people to represent them for the next five years.
