Malawi national football team captain Christopher John Banda will on Friday 28th of August 2020 lead captains of all the 16 teams that play in the elite football league to a meeting with Football Association of Malawi (FAM) and Super League of Malawi (SULOM) officials at the Mpira village in Blantyre.
The players wrote to the FA of the need for the meeting as they try to ask the FA to plead with the government for the return of football games in the county which were suspended in March this year due to Covid-19.
According to the flames captain, Christopher John Banda they expect to have a fruitful meeting with the two associations which will improve a lot of things.
“We are meeting FAM and SULOM today around 10 o’clock in the morning to give them our grievances and we expect to have a successful meeting which will improve a lot of things for the game,” he said.
