Chama is not for sale in East Africa.

Simba Sports Club spokesman Mr Haji Manara denied all rumors about their star attacking Midfielder, Clatous Chama about joining their country rivals Yanga Sports Club. Manara believes that there is no club in East Africa that can buy their Maestro playmaker.

Chama joined Simba Sports Club last season from Zesco United and helped Simba to qualify into the CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE last season as well as reaching the quarter finals. Chama is currently the best play maker in Vodacom Premier League with leading assists in the league as well.

“There is no club in the whole of East Africa that is able to sign Clatous Chama except Simba Sports Club. Let them speak as much as they want, a player who understands his worth will never leave Simba Sports Club and join them, it can only can happen if Simba Sports Club let the player go and not otherwise.

Chama still has a contract with Simba Sports Club and his worth doesn’t fit to play for normal clubs, Chama will never play for the club that is not into CAF Champions League. I don’t see how Chama leaves Simba Sports Club and signs to a club, whose players are not sure when they are going to be paid their salaries!”

This ends the rumors aboutClatous Chama.

He has been linked with the move to Yanga Sports Club, since Yanga Sports Club is looking to sign new players after setting their terms with their club main sponsor.
