Ministry of sports, youth and culture has changed dates for the launch of construction for stadiums of Nyasa Big Bullets and Be Forward Wanderers football clubs from Thursday 11 June to Saturday 13 June 2020 at Nyambadwe primary school ground.
Initially the ministry of sports, youth and culture released communication that the state president professor Arthur Peter Muthalika will grace the commencement work of the stadiums for the two Blantyre sides but according to spokesperson Simon Mvundula the launch has been shifted due to the schedule of the state president whom they want to be available on the day.
“I can confirm that the launch for the construction of the two stadiums for Nyasa Big Bullets and Be Forward Wanderers will not be on Thursday as we earlier communicated. It has been shifted to Saturday as that’s when the president will be available as we want him to grace the event,” he said.
Nyasa Big Bullets and Be Forward Wanderers football clubs do not have stadiums of their own and use the Kamuzu stadium as their home ground for games in the super league and cup games which made the president professor Arthur Peter Muthalika to make a pledge of constructing stadiums for them.
