Chelsea booked themselves a place in the finals of the 2019/20 FA Cup when they defeated Manchester United 3-1 in the second semifinals at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
From the kick-off, Chelsea looked more confident side while Manchester United failed to settle down in the match and display the kind of form they have been showing in the English Premier League (EPL).
In the last minutes of the first half, Olivia Giroud scored to put the blues in front with a close tap in after united defence was caught napping.
In the second half, Chelsea continued firing from all angles and just after the start of the second half, Mason Mount scored the second goal for Chelsea from a distance with United goalkeeper David De Gea to blame for letting that ball in.
With time ticking on the clock and united almost out of the contention, Chelsea kept pressuring Manchester United which paid off in the 74th minute when Harry Maguire put the ball in his own net. The Red Devils scored a consolation goal from the penalty spot through Bruno Fernandez with the Blues through to the finals in an emphatic 3-1 win.
