Chemusa nomads help Mlimbika

Be Forward Wanderers football club supporters based in Chemusa zone in the city of Blantyre over the weekend supported the team’s defender Francis Mlimbika with cash and kind as they continue to support the welfare of the players due to Covid-19.

Wanderers players have been hardly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic as their salaries have been reduced by 60%.
Speaking after receiving the support, Francis Mlimbika popularly known as FM 7, thanked the Lali Lubani side supporters for what they are doing to the players.

“I am very thankful to supporters from Chemusa zone for the kind of support they are giving to us as players during this time when we are not playing games and our salaries being reduced by 60%, their support in cash and kind is timely and helpful to us,” he said.

On their part, Chemusa zone supporters chairman, Rajab Jojo asked fellow supporters to work in hand to support the players who need their support most at a time like this.

“We agreed to be contributing a little something so that we can donate it to our players and the response has been positive and I wish we continue with what we have started so that more players should be helped,” he said.
