Chester’s strike not enough to win it for Las Vegas Lights

Malawi national football team midfielder Yamikani Chester on Tuesday scored for Las Vegas Lights football club as LA Galaxy came from behind to win the match 3-2 in the USL championship.

Coming from a 5-1 loss against Phonex Rising on Saturday which the former Be Forward Wanderers midfielder did not feature for Las Vegas, Chester proved his worth to the club when he doubled Las Vegas lead in the 28th minute after Moses opened the scoring.

Things turned around for Las Vegas as Williams pulled one back for LA Galaxy just before the break which gave them hope of a possible comeback in the second half as Williams completed his brace with Perez scoring the other goal to give Galaxy the win.

Chester has 3 goals to his name since joining Las Vegas Light and the club needs to pull up its socks after failing to win in the previous 4 games where they have managed 1 draw and 3 losses.
