Chiefs chase for Gaba

South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) giants Kaizer Chiefs Football Club are reportedly chasing for the signature of Malawian striker Gabadinho Mhango.

Mhango who inspired Bidvest Wits Football Club to win the PSL championship in the 2017/18 season, but fall short of Gavin Hunt’s plans as he featured in a few number of games for his club in the ended 2018/19 season says he awaits a communication from his manager on the Amakhosi offer.

“Any team that wants my services approaches my manager who then informs me of the offer at hand so am yet to receive a communication but a move out of Bidvest Wits can be a good option for me to revive my career after I played a few number of games last season,” Mhango said.

The 25 years old striker will see his two years contract at Bidvest Wits end on 30 June and he is heavily linked with a move to the Soweto giants who have been monitoring him for a while.

Gabadinho Mhango joined the Premier Soccer League in 2013 when he joined Bloemfontein Celtic Football Club from Big Bullets before joining Golden Arrows Football Club in 2015 and later joined Bidvest Wits in 2016 where he has played 41 games and scoring 11 goals.
