Coastal Union forces Yanga Sports Club into fourth draw.


Coastal Union played at home. They hosted Yanga Sports Club and forced them into the goalless draw at Mkwakwani Stadium. Coastal Union hosted Yanga Sports Club following their away defeat against JKT Tanzania.

While to Yanga Sports Club this is their Fourth consecutive draw in the Vodacom Premier League this season. Their previous draw was against, Mbeya City, Tanzania Prisons, and Polisi Tanzania consecutively.

Yanga Sports Club under new head coach Luc Eymael failed to get three points again today February 23, 2020.

Last time Yanga Sports Club won the Vodacom Premier League match, it was in early February and they won three matches consecutively. Their famous consecutive wins were against Singida United, Mtibwa Sugar, Lipuli Football Club and Ruvu Shooting.

Coastal Union also failed to restore their positive race in Vodacom Premier League like that of back in December and January. As they once manage to win four fixtures consecutively against Azam Football Club, Mbeya City, Tanzania Prisons and Kagera Sugar.

Elsewhere today, Alliance Football Club forced into 1-1 draw against Singida United, who are at the bottom of the league. Tanzania Prisons beat Lipuli Football Club by 2-0 at home.

Thus Yanga Sports Club still at 4th place with 41 points behind Namungo Football Club at 3rd place with 43 points. And Coastal Union at 5th place with 39 points after 24 completed fixtures.
