COVID-19 cases in India hit 6 million


In India, the deadly novel pandemic has today hit over six million cases since its outbreak in the country on January 30, 2020.

More than 95,542 people have succumbed to the disease. India is the second most affected after the United States of America that has reported more than seven million cases so far.

According to 2018 statistics, India was reported to have a total of 2.3 billion people after China that had 1.4 billion people.

By today September 28, the total number of infections in the world is 33.2 million, 999,000 fatalities and 23 million recoveries.
