Japanese second hand car selling dealer Be Forward limited which sponsors one on the country’s elite league side Wanderers has expressed fears that the sponsorship package might be cut by 30% as their business has been affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
This has been communicated with the 2017 TNM super league champions. They might receive K105 million of the K150 million they usually receive annually as part of the sponsorship deal. If the sponsorship package is cut the club will be forced to consider reducing salaries for the players and officials to accommodate their financial changes.
Be forward Limited started sponsoring Wanderers football club in 2015 with K70 million kwacha and the sponsorship package has been raised to K150 million annually over the years. The two parties signed a sponsorship deal until 2021.
