Cyril Ramaphosa reelected the South Africa’s president


South African parliament reelects Cyril Ramaphosa for president two weeks after the ruling party ANC won the Parliamentary elections.

“Ramaphosa has been elected the president because he was the only contestant in that position,” the Attorney General Mogoeng addressed the parliament in Cape Town.

Members of parliament from ANC who won 230 seats in May 8th elected Ramaphosa in their first meeting.

ANC won the Parliamentary elections by 57.7% of all votes, being the lowest win since the commence of the apartheid system in 1994.
