Diamond, first African Artist to hit 900 million views on YouTube

Tanzania’s Bongo Fleva artist Nasib Abdul popularly known as Diamond Platinumz has become the first African Artist to hit 900 million views on YouTube.

Diamond, who is now under self-quarantine with some of his crew since his arrival last week from Europe, has been having collaboration with famous musicians in the world, a thing that has engineered his achievements.

By early morning March 23, the singer who is rocking the airwaves with his latest hit single ‘Jeje’ beats Nigerian singer David who has 543 million views, Burnaboy who has 429 million views, Wizkid who has 792 million views.

With 3.2 million subscribers on YouTube since he joined in 2011, the prominent Diamond has been winning various awards in his career as a musician.

His other successful songs include ‘Nitampata Wapi’, ‘Nenda Kamwambie’, ‘Nitarejea’ featuring Hawa, ‘I miss you’, ‘Ukimwona’, and more others. He is the owner of Wasafi Classic Babe (WCB) label from where he raises young talented singers.
