Don’t work, you will be paid: Putin

The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin has ordered all Russian citizens to remain in lockdown and not to work until the end of April, as a measure to combat the disease.

Addressing the nation through television, Putin said that he has extended the lockdown with three weeks and all employees must be paid a full salary.

Putin has also noted that some industries producing noble products for human survival will continue with their activities of producing them. Shops which sell food and pharmacies will remain open.

His Excellency has revealed that clear strategies put to ensure combating the coronavirus disease have succeeded but he warned that the cases will still increase. So far, Russia has reported 4,149 cases and 34 deaths.
