Blue Eagles football club has been busy on the players transfer market as they have also added to their squad goalkeeper Chimwemwe Kumkwawa and Gaddie Chirwa before the start of the 2020 football season.
The Eagles have convinced the former Nyasa Big Bullets goalkeeper Kumkwawa who played for the relegated Masters Security in the super league last year as well as Chirwa formerly of Chintheche united whom have each signed two years contract with the club.
Within the week, the police headquarters side signed Mphatso Philimon, Lazarous Nyamera who were released by Silver Strikers and Mphatso Mpinganjira from Dwanga United.
Eagle’s chairperson Alexander Ngwala has confirmed the coming of the two players as they want to have a strong squad.
“The two players are now part of Blue Eagles having signed contracts. We are busy shopping players with an aim of fulfilling our ambitions to win trophies in 2020 having tasted the waters in 2019 as we won the FISD cup. This time we want to challenge for the TNM super league as well,” Ngwala said.
The 2019 FISD cup champions will be without Foster Biton as he has completed a move to Silver Striker while George Chauya, Patrick Rudi, Misheck Mwamchipitsa and Henry Chinseu have been released based on their performance. The club has also loaned out Williex Ngwenya, Boniface Maliwata and Pililani Tambala.
