Blue Eagles Football Club are set for their mission to collect six points in the southern region as they have two TNM Super League assignments over the weekend.

The 2018 Airtel top 8 champions will face Mighty Tigers Football Club on Saturday at Mulanje Park Stadium before meeting Be Forward Wanderers Football Club on Sunday at the Kamuzu Stadium.

Coach for the side Dekleck Msekakuona says they are on a mission to collect six points from the southern region.
“We have two assignments in the southern region this weekend where we want to collect six points but we know it will not be easy to achieve that as we are also facing good teams and we need to work hard on the day.
“Our preparations are going on well and we are preparing the way we do ahead of any match and the boys seem to be in good shape and we expect our captain Micium Mhone who is in camp with the Malawi National football team to be released in good time “, Msekakuona said.

Msekakuona further said that his team will miss the services of some key players due to injuries.
“We will miss the services of our key defender Wonder Jelemani and midfielder Stewart Mbunge as they are all injured but that should not be an excuse for us on our mission as we also have equally good players who should do a good job during the weekend “,Msekakuona said.

Blue Eagles Football Club are currently on 2nd position in the 2019 TNM Super League with seven points from three games winning against Moyale Barracks and Mtopwa Football Clubs before drawing against rookies Mlatho Mponela Football Club.
