The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has set gate charges for the second leg of the 2020 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier match against Eswatini to be played on Saturday 11th May at the Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.
According to the FA’s commercial and Marketing manager Limbani Matola tickets for the match will be sold from Thursday 9th May in allocated selling points within the commercial city of Blantyre such as FDH bank branches Limbe , Shoprite and Blantyre ,Puma filling station at Shoprite and Limbe market filling station.
Matola further said that charges for the match are different for those to buy tickets and for those opting to pay at the gate.
“Tickets for the Flames match against Eswatini will be sold at k1500 for open stands, k2500 MBC stands, k4000 and K6000 for covered and VIP stands respectively, but for those who will opt to pay at the gate on the day of the match, they will pay k2000 for open stands, k3000 MBC stands, K5000 and k8000 for covered and VIP stands respectively.”
“We expect a lot of people to come on the day and give support to the Flames that’s why we are edging them to buy tickets in advance.. ” Matola said.
The two teams will meet on Saturday for the return leg after it ended goalless in the first leg of the qualifier two weeks ago in Manzini
