Felicien Kabuga’s hearing in Tanzania

Court of appeal in France has accepted the transfer of genocide suspect Felicien Kabuga to Tanzania for prosecution.

The Rwandan citizen was put in police custody in his home outside of Paris after 26 years on the run and is expected to land in Tanzania soon.

Approximately 800,000 died in the massacre that came from the genocide back in 1994. Kabuga is being charged for allegedly funding the groups that executed the genocides.

Kabuga has denied all the charges filed against him saying they are nothing but lies.
