Former Mtibwa Sugar Midfielder, Hassan Dilunga has extended his contract with Simba Sports Club for two more years a contract worth 80 million Tanzanian shillings.
He has been linked with the move to Yanga Sports Club after the end of the season.
Dilunga Joined Simba Sports Club from Mtibwa Sugar back in 2018/19 season and the two years contract is until 2024. Sources say Hassan Dilunga and Said Ndemla have extended their contracts at the same time as the head coach insisted on keeping them at the club.
“It is official Hassan Dilunga has extended his contract for two more years, Dilunga and Ndemla have both extended their contracts as the head coach insisted.
“It was difficult to let Dilunga go somewhere else considering the form he is in, the head coach has proposed to keep him for the next two years.”
Simba Sports Club is looking to maintain and improve the squad for the next Vodacom Premier League and CAF Champions League next season, thus they are keeping all of their key players.
Also, Simba Sports Club Chief Executive officer Senzo Mazingisa says Simba Sports Club will never let go of any key players and those who have been proposed by the head coach.
“Not a single player will depart the club if we want them, we might let go of some of the players that coach does not have plans for.”
