Nyasa Big Bullets football club and Malawi national football team midfielder Chimwemwe Idana and Striker Hasani Kajoke have committed their future to the club as they have signed new deals ending speculation of them leaving the club.
Kajoke was named Bullets top goal scorer in 2019 season as he had 17 goals to his name which helped the club win the championship last season. He will stay put at the club until 2023 as he has signed a 3 years deal with the people’s team. Idana has signed a two years contract with Bullets after being instrumental for the team last season as he was the hub of the team as a midfielder and also scored a number of vital goals to defend the super league.
Speaking after signing the contract, Kajoke who was reluctant to sign a new deal with the people’s team after a move for him and defender Precious Sambani to leave the country for a Ukrainian side never materialized, expressed his gratitude for committing his future to the club and has promised to work hard in the fourth coming season.
“I am happy to extend my stay at the club despite a number of things that were between us but that is now water under the bridge and I promise to work hard in the coming season and become a reliable player for the club,” he said.
Idana and Kajoke were promoted to Nyasa Big Bullets main team in 2018 after winning the southern region football association league with the reserve side together with goalkeeper Elias Missi and defender Charles Petro who sealed a deal to play in Moldova.
