Inter move to second position in Serie A as Parma, Napoli register wins


Inter Milan has moved to the second position in the Italian Serie A league and move within four points of league leader Juventus when they defeated Genoa 3-0 at the Luigi Ferraris on Saturday.

Two former Manchester United football club players inspired Inter Milan to secure maximum points as Romelu Lukaku scored a brace with the other goal coming from Alexis Sanches. Milan has now collected 76 points from 36 games while Genoa is on 17th position with 36 points.

At Stadio Mario Rigamonti, Parma were 2-1 winners over Brescia to move to 10th position on the standings. Darmian had put the visitors in the lead in the 59th minute but Dessena equalised 3 minutes later for the home side.

In the last 10 minutes of the match, Kulusevski scored the winner for the visitors to collect three points and move into the top half with 46 points. Brescia will be relegated from the Serie A as they have 24 points from 36 games and are on 19th position with an 8 points gap with 18th placed Lecce which is fighting to avoid relegation.

In another match at Stadio San Paolo, Napoli defeated Sassuolo 2-0 thanks to goals from Hysaj and Allan.
