Juventus football club look certain to defend the Serie A title they won last season after securing an emphatic 3-0 win over Sampdoria in their first league match of the 2020/21 season match played on Sunday at the Juventus stadium.
The home side took the lead in the 13th minute when Kulusevski saw his left-footed strike into the top corner and the goal was enough to separate boys from men by the end of the first half.
In the second half, the home side struggled to register quick goals but used their experience as the games approached the 80th minute when Bonucci scored from a rebound when Sampdoria failed to clear a Kulusevski corner kick.
With 2 minutes to full time, Christiano Ronaldo opened his goal-scoring account for the campaign when he fired into the bottom left corner to give Juventus 3 points.
In another match, Genoa were 4-1 winners over Crotone to give themselves a high 5 start of the season.
Destro and Pandev gave Genoa a 2 goals advantage in the first ten minutes of play but Riviere reduced the damage just before the half-hour mark which was not enough to frustrate the home side which scored two other goals through Zappacosta and Pjaca.
At Ennio Tardini, Napoli started the new season with a 2-0 win over Parma thanks to second-half goals from Mertens and Insigne while Sassuolo drew 1-1 against Cagliari.
