Former Malawi national football team midfielder and owner of Kamwendo foundation, Joseph Kamwendo says he is in talks with people from other countries who have shown interest to partner with him in his foundation.
Kamwendo launched the foundation after announcing his retirement from active football in 2019 and the former Be Forward Wanderers football team aims to develop youngsters from his foundation.
“Even though it’s not yet concluded but I have been in talks with companies from other countries who have shown interest to be part of it.
“I am also in talks with my former team mates about the deal and there is light at the end of it all and its a good thing that the brand is being recognised and one of the people am in talks with is former South Africa football star Sibusiso Zuma,” he said.
