Leicester top EPL standings after winning at Burnley


Leicester City football club came from behind to defeat Burnley in a 6 goals thriller match played at the King Power Stadium on Sunday, 20 September to go top of the English premier league standings with just two games played in the 2020/21 season.

The visitors were first to score through Wood in the 10th minute but Barnes equalised for the 2015/16 premier league champions ten minutes later to tie the game at 1-1 by half time.

In the second half, the Foxes took the lead just after 5 minutes of play when Peters scored in his own net before Justin and Praet scored the other goals for the home side to win the match 4-2.

The win takes Leicester City to the top of the 2020/21 English premier league season standings after two games with 6 points and this is the first time they top the standings since the 2015/16 season they won the title.
