Leopards fight for PSL

Black Leopards football club started their premier soccer league (PSL) playoffs on a good note after defeating Ajax Cape Town 1-0 on Wednesday.

Playing in their second playoff match after defeating Tshakhuma Tsha Madzibvandila (TTM) 3-2 on Sunday, the Capetown based side had a frustrating afternoon as the 25th-minute goal from Musonda proved decisive to give Black Leopards three points as they fought to stay in the PSL.

Former Malawi national football team midfielder Robert Ng’ambi played a part for Leopards as he was introduced in the 46th minute and his experience rocked the midfield to frustrate Ajax cape town in their attacking moves as they want to play in the GladAfrican championship next season.

Both Leopards and Ajax have three points in the bag but the later has played a game more and Black Leopards will face Tshakhuma Tsha Madzibvandila (TTM) in their second playoffs match on Saturday 12th September.
