Leopards on PSL playoffs driving seat

Black Leopards football club has hope of playing in the ABSA Premier Soccer League (PSL) next season following their second consecutive win in the playoffs.

On Saturday, Black Leopards defeated Tshakhuma Tsha Madzibvandila (TTM) 3-1 as they battle to play in the GladAfrica championship next season.

Musonda opened the scoring for Leopards on the 20th minute but Nevhulamba equalised for TTM in the 44th minute.

Just when everyone thought the two sides will go to the break tied at 1-1, Masia scored in added minutes of the first half to give Black Leopards an advantage of going into the second half.

In the last 45 minutes of the match, both sides locked their defences as goals were not coming and as they searched for the killer goal, Black Leopards substituted former Malawi national football team midfielder Robert Ng’ambi for Ndlovu who had a hand for Musonda to complete his brace on the afternoon.

Black Leopard has 2 wins from 2 games in the playoffs after defeating Ajax Cape Town in the first match and will face Ajax on Friday 18th September in the return leg match of the promotion battle.

Ajax which has 3 points from 2 games will face TTM which has no point from the same number of games on Tuesday 15 September.
