After seeing ‘Wanapaluhengo’ Lipuli Football Club being relegated to First Division League from Vodacom Premier League in 2019/20 season, Lipuli Football Club head coach Mr Nzeyimana Mailo have stepped down as the head coach, following the bad season at the club.
Lipuli Football Club finishes the season at 18th place in the league standings with 44 points.
Mr Nzeyimana Mailo who had two years contract with Lipuli Football Club says he stepped out due to various challenges at the club.
“There has been a lot of challenges within the club including salaries for my players and other payments.
“I’ve submitted my resignation to the management before the Vodacom Premier League ends, but they asked me to wait until the league end.
“So we agreed to terminate my contract with the club at the end of the season, so now I am a free man,” says Mr Nzeyimana Mailo.
Lipuli Football Club will be without a manager in the First Division League.
