After failing to win the Vodacom Premier League and Azam Sports Federation Cup this season, Yanga Sports Club head coach has set their new target for the last matches of the season.
The Belgian said for now there is nothing ahead of them to fight for than making sure they finish the league at the second place ahead of Azam Football Club.
Luc Eymael yesterday July 15th, 2020 led his squad to win against Singida United for 3-1 , the results that took them up to the second place above Azam Football Club.
” For now we have nothing to loose so we must work hard and perform well and pressure Azam Football Club as we are competing for the second place.
” Still the league is competetive regardless we have the champion already, for us to finish second in the league standings is our last objective in this season,” says Yanga Sports Club head coach Lucy Eymael.
Yanga Sports Club is now ahead of Azam Football Club by two points difference, and both have played 35 matches .
