Be Forward Wanderers football club midfielder Francisco Madinga will be leaving the country on Tuesday for Georgia. He is starting his new life at FC Dila Gori.
The Malawian under 20 joined wanderers from Namiwawa in 2017. He caught the eye of the Georgian side and got two years outright deal confirmed by wanderers chairman Gift Mkandawire.
“He is not going there for trials as he got an outright contract of two years and is expected to leave the country on Tuesday. We wish him all the best as he is not only representing wanderers but Malawi as a whole”, said Mkandawire.
The enterprising midfielder last played for Wanderers against Mlatho Mponela in the last game of the 2019 TNM super league which the nomads won 4-1.
FC Dila Gori plays in the Erovnuli Liga. The team won the Georgian Cup in 2012 and the Georgian championship in 2015.
