Be Forward Wanderers Football Club captain Alfred Manyozo has advised his fellow players to pull up their sockes for the team to starts performing well and start winning games.

Manyozo said this as the team is having a poor run of form which has resulted in the teams supporters demanding for the removal of the current technical panel led by coach Bob Mpinganjira.
“It’s unfortunate that we are not performing well on the ground interms of getting the required results and as captain am saying sorry to all our fans for the poor results but I feel the coaches have no problem as they let those who are performing well at training play the game but it’s us the players who are failing to do a good job on the ground”, Manyozo said.

Manyozo also hinted that the team is in bad shape as it lost a lot of players at the end of last season and the new players brought to the club are yet to settle down.
“Wanderers lost a lot of quality players at the end of last season who had an impact to the team such as Yamikani Chester, Joseph Kamwendo, Peter Wadabwa and Essau Kanyenda and the new players who have joined the club are yet to settle down to fill the gap left by the departed players.
“Wanderers is a big club which has a lot of supporters who always want the team to be winning games and am not surprised they are asking for the technical panel to be fired for failing to produce results”, Manyozo said.

In the 2019 season, Be Forward Wanderers has played three games in all competitions with two games in the TNM Super League winning against MZUNI Football Club 5-0 and Losing against Blue Eagles Football Club 3-1 with the other game being an Airtel top 8 quarter Final first leg match against Silver Strikers which they also lost 1-0 at the Kamuzu Stadium.
