Masters Security held Nyasa Big Bullets to a goalless draw in a TNM super league match at the Dedza stadium.
From kick off, both sides played a more concise game not to concede an early goal and lacked creativity to break each others defense.
Masters were the first to knock on Bullets goal but goalkeeper Rabson Chiyenda was alert to clear the danger.
Both sides created a lot of scoring opportunities which were not utilised that no goals were seen at the break.
In the second half Masters were too good for the peoples team as they dominated possession but lacked the killer punch up front.
Both sides made changes, masters bringing in Juma Yatina and Beston Jim for Cady Toure and Zeliati Nkhoma with Bullets introducing Nelson Kangunje for Enerst Petro who was later replaced by Peter Banda.
After 90 minutes no goals were seen and Masters Security football club coach Abasi Makawa was happy with the draw.
“Coming from losing our previous game am happy with how the boys have played and the result. We are still working to improve and this is a start of good results to come”, he said.
On the other hand coach for Bullets Calisto Pasuwa said
“Pressure is mounting on us as a team and we need to rectify our problems as soon as possible to return to winning ways”.
The draw means Bullets return to the southern region with a point from a possible six having lost against Kamuzu Barracks on Saturday.
