Mbao Football Club from Mwanza region has failed to retain their spot in the Vodacom Premier League for the next season as they are relegated officially.
Mbao Football Club forced their spot in the Vodacom Premier League playoff after finishing the season at 15th place in the league standings.
In the two playoff matches between Mbao Football Club and Ihefu Football Club from Mbeya, Ihefu Football Club progresses into the Vodacom Premier League next season after winning on aggregate away goals.
Thus Mbao Football Club becomes the fourth club from Vodacom Premier League to be relegated this season including, Ndanda Football Club, Lipuli Football Club, Singida United and Alliance Football Club.
Ihefu Football Club joins the Vodacom Premier League next season alongside Gwambina Football Club and Dodoma Football Club to make their debut into Vodacom Premier League next season 2020/21.
