The ministry of health in Tanzania promises more jobs for medical practitioners and health care personnel all over Tanzania.
This was said by Ziada Sellah, the CEO of Health and welfare at the referral hospital in Manyara at a meeting with the respective staff.
Addressing the staff, Sellah also urged the doctors and nurses to adhere to the work values and morals while at work, reminding them to make sure that they are part of the treatment the patients receive.
In the previous years, jobs in healthcare were fairly easy to acquire but this fact has shifted with time. The referral hospital in Manyara lacks a total of 200 medical practitioners. This totals 60% of what is required for the hospital to run effectively.
