Mtibwa Sugar head coach is concerned about the players form

Mtibwa Sugar head coach Mr Zuberi Katwila raises his concern about the players form once the league resume in the coming months.

Katwila is one of the best Tanzanian head coach in the Vodacom Premier League this season alongside Kagera Sugar Football Club head coach Mecky Maxime and Coastal Union head coach Juma Mgunda.

Katwila’s concern is to the players form as the league is on hold due to coronavirus pandemic.

“For this time of the year and the situation the whole world faces, I am worried about the players form, some of them might lose their spark due to the absence of the league. All players are at home and on self-quarantine, that means even training is very personal at home.”

“I’m worried about their form once they return to the club duties in the Vodacom Premier League and other competitions. I am not sure if they will return with the same energy and form they left in, it will be great that way, but unless otherwise, it’s going to be worse for all the clubs.”

The former Mtibwa Sugar player and Premier League title winner in 1999/2000 season said, one of the best strategies for the players is to attend the individual training programs they have been given because it is the best plan so far.
