Mzuni get k20 million

TNM super league side Mzuni football club has gone into a partnership with Certified Natural Foods Company.

The agreement which was made at Mpira village in Blantyre will see Mzuni get products worthy k20 million to sell.

Chrispine Jedegwa, the company’s production manager said the deal has been made to help the club settle its debts.

“The partnership is in phases and the club will sell our products such as Potato flour and Thanzi ufa wa Mbatata. All this is to raise money for the club to settle its debts with players “, he said.

Mzuni general secretary Donex Chilonga was happy for the deal as it will help the club a lot.
“We are thankful for the partnership which has come at the right time when are struggling financially. We hope to make more sells to raise money in the run of the affairs of the club”, said Chilonga.

Mzuni has been struggling financially since parting ways with Mzuzu University. The club has relied on well wishers for money to fulfil fixtures in the Airtel top 8 cup and super league.
